Bassetti Photo was started in 1970 by Bruce & Carol Bassetti, who worked from a small home office in Vineland, New Jersey. Weddings, schools and sports were photographed personally by Bruce and Carol. Days, nights and weekends became busy as word spread, and soon the need for a bigger office became apparent.

 

Bassetti Photo is now based in a 20,000-square-foot building in Minotola, New Jersey. In 2000, we were one of the first photography companies in the region to go completely digital.

 

Bruce and Carol remain involved with the company but have been joined by their daughter, Stephanie Bassetti-Metcalf. Stephanie is intimately familiar with the photography business, helping her parents from a young age. At 9 or 10 years old, she would assist at picture days, making sure each sports team had the right sign for its photo. By 15, she was photographing assignments herself.

 

Today, Stephanie is Bassetti’s Director of Operations, overseeing the day-to-day running of the company. Bruce continues to work directly with the photographers, including some who have been with the company for 25 years. Carol oversees quality control and coordinates many other details.

 

Bassetti Photo has as many as 40 employees during peak times. Our hard-working staff of photographers, sales reps, customer service reps, graphic artists and digital specialists are an integral part of our success.
